Megan and Brent are a sweet couple  in the midwest who have been trying to start a family for some time now. I’ve been reading their blog for about a year now about their life in the midwest, Megan’s great decorating skills, and laughing along at the funny pictures of  their fur-baby, Elton. I also read along as Megan found out she was pregnant last fall and even  the struggles with finding out that baby Cohen was going to have problems with his little heart. As soon as they found out he was going to have a tough road ahead, Megan and Brent set out to find the best doctors at the best hospitals for their little boy. After moving to a new city and settling down, Cohen was born on June 7 and went through multiple surgeries and around the clock care. After a little over 10 days of fighting for his life, his little heart couldn’t take it anymore. They are now going through a very difficult time with the loss of their newborn baby.

Please take a little time out of your busy day and go to their page, read their story, and learn about the memorial fund that has been set up in Cohen’s honor.

Although I don’t know them personally, it’s always heartbreaking to hear about a family who has lost a child. I hope that you will keep Megan and Brent in your prayers as they go through this trying time. Because even as complete strangers, we are  brothers and sisters in Christ and we should all lift them up as they grieve their loss.
