I’m back! So sorry I didn’t get to post yesterday. I was a bit busy digging out from under a pile of emails at work. But I’m back today with lots of picture love from the amazing wedding weekend of my dear friend Jessica. Her day was BEAUTIFUL!

Now, before I give you details, here is some of the back story on Jeremy and Jessica. They dated briefly when we were in high school. He actually asked her to prom and then proceded to dump her the week before. They still went. Talk about an awkward evening! Years later, they kept in touch and she invited him to meet us for dinner in Charlotte when she was in town for a conference. Well they hit it off and the rest is history. They began dating and then her job brought her to Davidson where she bought a house. They were engaged for a year and it has been so much fun watching her plan this day down to every detail. She has such an amazing eye for decorating and she knew how to throw a good party on a budget. I count it a belssing to be one of her friends and was very honored she asked me to be a bridesmaid. We have been friends since we were about 12 years old and it is crazy to think about how much we have both been through and how life brought us back together. I am completely over the moon happy for them!

Ok, enough with the mushy stuff, here are some photos from her amazing weekend…hope you’re ready!

Rehearsal_07 Here is the LOOOOONG lawn we had to walk from that beautiful white 100+ year old hotel. Such a beautiful wedding location! Jessica actually grew up coming to this camp every summer as a kid. She also worked here 3 summers in college.

Here we are at the rehearsal standing in front of this beautiful stone chapel. Such a pretty spot!

The ladies. I’m on the end (aka shortest) 🙂

The guys. And Jess running the show 🙂

Here we are watching Jess come down the isle! It was a beautiful day! We were all squinting a bit though because the sun was starting to set and it was directly in our eyes. haha 🙂

There she is! She wore her mother’s dress. She had it altered and updated to an A-line strapless. It was vintage and GORGEOUS!!! The birdcage veil was flawless with it! She has such an amzing style!

Seriously, how beautiful is that chapel? Such an simple and elegant ceremony. The pastor did a phenominal job!

YAY! They’re married!! Look how happy she is…

Here’s a view of the reception hall. She added all those curtins. The inside was lit with christmas lights. Gorgeous!

A little fuzzy but you get the idea…

How amazing is this table? She came up with all the table decorations herself. She collected them all year long. She had long tables which she set up in a horse shoe shape so there would be plenty room to dance. We did a special dance called The Grand March which is a guy/girl square dance. Jessica and her dad led it as their father-daughter dance. It was so fun!

Cutting their mini-wedding cake. They were smart! They got a small cake and then 3 different flavors of cupcakes…it was a big hit! The cake was pumpkin chocolate chip. YUM!

It was a great day! I don’t think they could have been any happier! Now they are on their honeymoon in Antigua. I’m not jealous, nope..not at all!

Tomorrow, I bring you the verdict of which costume did I choose for the Pug…I know you can barely wait. Try not to fall off the edges of your computer chairs, ok?
